The Register's Annual Bicycle Ride Across Iowa will take a central route this summer. The ride, which will be about 444 miles long, begins in Sergeant Bluff and ends in Muscatine. Host towns for overnight stops will be: Sergeant Bluff Ida Grove Audubon Waukee Newton Marengo Coralville The ride ends in Muscatine. RAGBRAI overnights in Sergeant Bluff, Waukee and Marengo for the first time in 2006. This is the third ride for Ida Grove (1977 and 1988), the third for Audubon (1980, 1986), the second for Newton (1975) and the third for Coralville (1995, 2001). This is Muscatine's fifth time as the end point. The complete route for the 2006 RAGBRAI will not be announced for several weeks.
