The new AMP pavilion will be located at the High Trestle Trail trailhead in Ankeny across the street from the current Fire houre and next to FireTrucker Brewery.

AMP will be built on 3.1 acres between W. 1st Street and SW 3rd Street which is the original site of the railroad depot and stockyards. 34 miles of trail will be connected from the AMP.

This will be Ankeny's hub for bikers, market and entertainment in a park located in one of Iowa's fastest growing communities.

The AMP will include two pavilions, restroom facilities and plenty of open area and parking spaces.

Is it estimated that over 100,000 people will use AMP each year and bring in $3.1 million dollars to the Ankeny economy. A cumulative impact for all Ankeny Trails = $4.1 million to $8.7 million annually.

Total projected costs are $1.4 million dollars.
